Luscious, cosy and chunky handspun, hand knitted blanket in multifibre art yarn. Because this is designed as a baby blanket, fine and supersoft fibres have been selected and no threads or fibres that could catch a little finger or be pulled out and swallowed are included. Can also be used as a knee rug by big people.

Fibres include huacaya and suri alpaca, bamboo, merino, silk and angora in both natural and dyed colours.

Custom made to order in a range of colour palettes: Multicolour- Light (main picture); Multicolour – Dark; Yellow; Green; Red and Charcoal (see swatches). Please allow 2- 4 weeks.

These one of a kind throws are like artworks – no two will be the same. The photo is of our sample. Your order will be custom made and may vary somewhat from the photograph.

Beautifully packaged in a quality box suitable for gift-giving or a special treat for yourself or your special treasure.

About alpacarama products

The focus of alpacarama is to produce and promote handmade product from the fleece grown by our suri alpacas on our farm in the Strathbogie Tablelands in North Central Victoria, Australia. Wherever possible, the products on this site are from our farm, our neighbouring farmers and local processors. With over 600 alpacas just on our farm, that is a lot of fibre! So, via this on-line store, we can provide all those talented spinners, felters and textile artists with a range of alpaca fibre products to add their next project. We will continue to add product to the site, but please contact us if you need something in particular, or would like to reserve special fleeces that sell out quickly. We can also custom dye, spin and knit as required.
