A multifibre blend of huacaya and suri alpaca, merino, suri and angora and silk, this yarn has been spun as a gradient, from black/mahogany through purples, pinks and naturals to white. A lovely, corespun yarn, that would knit up into a stunning infinity scarf, shawl or tunic. Total skein is 270g and 320m. Equivalent to a 20 ply.

This yarn can be spun to order in this colourway, or variations of it ($30/100g).

Handspun Yarn – textured natural black suri

A semi-boucle yarn handspun suri from naturally blue-black alpacas plied with charcoal linen yarn. This fibre was grown by the suris at Baarrooka in the Strathbogie Ranges, shorn and sorted and sent to a boutique alpaca fibre processing mill to be made into rovings and then handspun by us into a soft and weighty yarn.

A large skein suitable for cowl, hat, wristers, scarf, vest etc.

Only one skein available.

Approx. 8 ply (12wpi). 194 g
