Description
The Kimberley colourway, inspired by a recent trip through this spectacular part of Northern Australia, includes ochres, tans, greens and whites, with splashes of greys and blues.
These batts are based on suri and huacaya alpaca fleece so they are supersoft. They also include other fibres such as merino, silk and angora. Natural, hand-dyed and commercial dyed fibres. These batts are made by running rovings, picked and raw locks once through the carder to produce a textured batt suitable for various art yarn applications, including corespun chunky, thick and thin singles or coils (you can see some examples in the Yarn section of the store).
Colours vary a little from batt to batt, allowing you to spin a graduated yarn (see the rug in Homewares or the scarves and beanies in Fashion) or dividing them up to obtain a more consistent yarn.
Each batt is approximately 100g.
