Sorted Raw Suri Locks – Dark Ash Blonde – Fine/Medium

Raw Suri Fleece – Light Brown Fine 27 cm

This fleece is fine but strong and combs out well to around 27 cm. It is very clean and there is little wastage during combing. A dark blonde/light brown colour. Soft and shiny. Ideal fibre for doll’s hair. Also suit spinning from the lock, dyeing, weaving and felting. 100g packs of raw, unprocessed fibre.

Raw Suri Fleece – White Fine 33 cm

This fleece is fine/baby fine micron and is very soft. Is has good independence so there is little wastage during sorting. In the lock, it is a little more lofty (airy) than traditional heavy suri, but once washed and combed has good drape and weight. It is sound, with almost no wastage at all during combing. Has less lustre than average suri. Ideal fibre for doll’s hair. Also suit spinning from the lock, dyeing, weaving and felting. Staple length after processing and combing 34 cm. 100g packs.

This fleece is fine/medium micron and is soft. Is has good independence so there is little wastage during sorting. Raw Suri Fleece – Dark Grey Medium 24 cm

This fleece is soft and silky but strong and combs out well to around 24 cm. It has no tenderness on tips but some short fibres within the locks which results in a little wastage during combing. It is very soft and has beautiful drape and flow. This is a gorgeous dark silver grey colour with excellent shine. Ideal fibre for doll’s hair. Also suit spinning from the lock, dyeing, weaving and felting. 100g packs of raw, unprocessed fibre.

This fleece is very long and fine with a great drape. It has some tenderness on tips, but combs out well to around 38 cm so suited for those projects where length is required. The raw fleece has some vegetable matter and a little cotting, but processed well with little wastage. It has excellent shine and softness and is ideal fibre for doll’s hair where a more delicate result is desired. 100g packs of raw, unprocessed fibre.

Raw Suri Fleece – Dark Blonde Fine 32 cm

This fleece is very soft, lustrous and fine. However, it is an adult fleece, so it is sound and robust and ideally suited for doll’s hair. It does have tender tips from sun exposure, but there will be very little wastage when processing this fibre. Only a small amount of vegetable matter present and this combs out easily. Combs out to 32 cm. 100g packs.

Raw Suri Fleece – Silver Grey Fine

This silver grey fleece is very soft and lustrous with and is a consistent medium grey. It has been well skirted and has little vegetable matter. Approximately 24 microns, so most suitable for doll’s hair, but can be used for spinning, carding or felting. Staple length 16 cm. 100g.
