Description

Hand-dyed using the skins from brown onions. No mordant was used. The colour is a light pinkish tan with a subtle gradient.

This laceweight commercially processed yarn has been made from local suri alpaca, superfine merino and bamboo. The full production process, from scouring to spinning was also undertaken locally on a small run basis. This yarn is super soft and has a luxuriant feel with lovely sheen from the suri and bamboo combination. Would knit up beautifully into a light and warm triangular shawl or lacy cardigan. Also perfect for baby’s wear and lightweight blankets. Can be custom dyed.
