Raw fleece is straight off the animal. There is likely to be variations in length, micron and possibly soundness across the fleece. There may be some cotting and vegetable matter present, though this will be included in the description. If consistent length is important you may wish to consider purchasing the sorted locks which will also reduce wastage.
